Malaysian Political Coalitions
Malaysia's political landscape is shaped by five major coalitions, each representing different ideological and regional interests. The current ruling coalition is Pakatan Harapan (PH), led by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, which governs in a unity arrangement alongside Barisan Nasional (BN). The opposition is anchored by Perikatan Nasional (PN) โ a coalition of Bersatu and PAS โ which controls several northern states including Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu. East Malaysia is represented by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), whose support is pivotal to the federal government's stability.
Understanding which coalition a politician belongs to helps make sense of their policy positions and alliances. MY Tier covers all major coalitions, plus smaller parties like Muda and Warisan, so you can rank politicians across the full political spectrum โ from veteran statesmen to the youngest elected MPs.

What is a tier list?
A tier list is a ranking system where you sort items from S (the best) down to F (the worst). Is this site affiliated with any political party?
No. MY Tier is completely independent and not affiliated with any Malaysian political party, coalition, or government body. Rankings are made by individual users for entertainment and discussion only.
How do I share my tier list?
Two ways: click 'Share' to copy a URL that encodes your exact ranking โ anyone who opens the link sees your tier list. Or click 'Save as PNG' to download an image you can post to WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, or TikTok.
Can I add a politician who isn't in the list?
Yes. On the Tier Maker page, scroll down to the pool section and use the 'Add politician' tool โ upload a photo and enter a name. They will appear in your pool immediately for you to rank.
